Today the Houston Fire Museum Honors the Memories of Those Lost on 9-11

Today is a somber day of remembrance. Today you can honor those who lost their lives during the terrorist attack on US soil visiting the Houston Fire Museum, and view a piece of steel from the World Trade Center.

The museum is at 2403 Milam in Houston, and will open from 9am to 2pm.

There will also be a very special jacket on display. It belonged to one of the firefighters who ran into danger on that fateful day and did not return. He was the twin brother of a Houston firefighter.

The exhibit tells personal stories of witnesses and survivors through archival photographs from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum's permanent collection in New York City.
