It is the start of the school year, and the second Super Saturday Vaccination Day across several Houston school districts.
Anyone 12 or older can get a shot, no appointments necessary.
There are twelve today, among the biggest, Mayor Turners Back to School Fest in the Yellow Parking lot of NRG Center 8am to 4:30. Middle schools, Audrey Lawson, Northbrook and Stevenson. Elementarys include Spring Branch, Meadow Wood and Huffman, and Worthing High School.
The program is continuing every Saturday in August.
