Texas Mom Sues Peleton for Child's Injury

A Porter woman is suing Peloton for more than one-million dollars after her child became injured by a treadmill.

Leanne Williams says she was doing laundry when she heard her two-year-old son scream, finding him trapped underneath the Tread-Plus treadmill.

Even if the monitor is turned off, the dial to the treadmill still works and can be easily turned on.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission urged parents to stop using the equipment back in April after one child died from the machine and dozens more got injured.
