Texas Governor Greg Abbott is releasing details about this week's border visit by former President Trump.
Abbott's office says the pair will take part in a security briefing on the border in Weslaco on June 30th.
Abbott and Trump will then go on a tour of the unfinished border wall in the Rio Grande Valley. Vice President Kamala Harris went to El Paso last Friday for a border tour.
Abbott and other Texas Republicans have criticized Harris for not going to the Del Rio area, where they say drug cartels and gangs are causing problems for local residents.
