The Katy Nail Salon was the sign of a needless shooting. The owner of the salon was shot by a customer because she thought her manicure was too expensive. The owner is still hospitalized is reported to be doing "ok." The shooter has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bond is set at $60,000. She is in the Fort Bend County Jail. Her sister drove the get-away car and was also charged, and bonded out of jail.
The Katy community is doing what they can to help the owner during his convalescence. Several loyal customers are now trying to help him out. They say they know how expensive it is for his family during this time because everything from parking to eating is pricey.
