An anonymous donor is enabling San Jacinto College to offer free tuition to every member of the Class of 2021 in six local school districts.
The LaPorte, Channelview, Galena Park, Sheldon, Pasadena, and Deer Park ISDs are in San Jac's taxing district and are covered by the donation.
About five-thousand students will graduate from those districts this year, and the funds will cover tuition for all of them for up to three-years.
Qualifying students must enroll this fall and take at least six credit hours each semester.
