Despite Pledge To Avoid Taxing Middle Class, Biden Erases Trumps Tax Cuts

You couldn't read his lips because of the mask, but Joe Biden did say it several times from the basement (and a few from the campaign trail).

"Under my plan, if you make less than $400,000, you won't pay a single penny more in taxes. You have my word on it." Unfortunately for all of us, that is not true.

Last Friday, before the long holiday weekend, President Biden released his budget for 2022. Not only is spending up, along with a big increase in the capital gains tax. But, it will also mark the end of the 2017 Trump tax cuts, which led to arguably the greatest economy in the history of the world. And in typical Democrat fashion, rather than being transparent and owing up to the lie, and the tax increase, the end of the Trump tax cuts will automatically trigger a significant tax increase. For all Americans.

"Biden said he wouldn't tax middle class Americans, and that was never true" said Grover Norquist, Founder and President of Americans for Tax Reform. "We're going to be seeing direct hits on all Americans, of all incomes, with a massive $3.6 trillion dollar tax increase that Biden is threatening to impose. It will take spending as a percentage of our economy higher than World War II."

No matter how many times you look at it, or try to run the numbers, there is no way possible for the Biden spending spree to end well. The idea of 'taxing the rich' sounds good to some (they didn't have to work hard for it), but the reality is there are not enough 'rich people' to pay for everything. So not only are all Americans going to be hit with higher taxes. As we've already seen, inflation is skyrocketing, with higher prices for food, gas, electricity, for everything.

So what can we do? How do we stop it? Norquist told KTRH the only way is try and sway some Democrats not to vote for it.

"One single Democrat can say no to any of the tax increases. If you have a Democrat congressman, talk to them and tell them "I know you can stop this", because they can."
