Why Republicans Keep Making Unforced Errors So The Media Will Like Them?

Everybody wants to be liked. It's human nature.

But Republicans need to first, find a way to like themselves. And then 2nd, they need to stop trying to gain that approval from the mainstream media. It's never going to happen.

"We're accustomed to the guilt-tripping of the left" said FOX News contributor Elizabeth Ames, "And we need to rediscover what's great about this country, and not be afraid to say it."

Unfortunately, the left is not particularly interested in that vision. But they love a nice GOP squabble. A few weeks ago it was Liz Cheney, and then last week House minority leader Kevin McCarthy got into it with Marjorie Taylor Greene.

"The GOP has to stop attacking each other" Ames told KTRH. "The game of the Democrat controlled media is to gin up outrage, and we need to take back the agenda."

That agenda of course includes the key issues, like the economy, inflation, the border crisis, critical race theory, abortion, guns, and China. But the only GOP topics you hear about on corporate media are the crazy conservatives that want to storm the Capitol, and Republican in-fighting.

And of course, the carry-over Trump bashing. And while Ames still agrees that Trump is still the leader, Republicans are still in need of strong leadership. "Someone who is smart and strategic, who will not reject Trump but welcome him" Ames said. "Someone for the future."

In the meantime, with the 2022 mid-terms just around the corner, the future is now.
