After Covid, Can We Ever Trust Public Health Officials Again?

From "15 days to slow the spread"....to "there's no reason to be walking around with the mask", how can we be expected to have any trust in our public health officials?

It's a fair and legitimate question, and one that was posed to the American Thinker's Dr. Brian Joondeph. "The public health bureaucracy, the CDC, the White House, have been giving us false and misleading information. They're not playing with the same rules. Their changing their standards as we go along and naturally people are going to be suspicious."

Considering how the poorly the pandemic and 2020 were handled, what's going to happen the next time there's a wide spread medical emergency?

"Honestly it depends on who is in office" Dr. Joondeph told KTRH, "This has been handled through the lens of politics to pile on, and make President Trump look bad. I don't think things would have been handled the same way if a Democrat was in the White House."

Extremely difficult to dispute that point. As is this one, "If the vaccine works? Then why are vaccinated people still required to wear masks, and social distance? And if masks work? then why the push for the vaccine?" said Joondeph. "We see a lot of discrepancies and things are not being explained in a medical, or scientific fashion."

Validating those points is the unbelievable but true fact that here in Harris County we remain on Code Level Red.

Bottom line, Dr. Joondeph says it's all about Covid-control. "A lot of these elected officials are reluctant to give up power. They enjoy having power over people, instituting rules and regulations that they themselves don't obey."
