Study: COVID Lockdowns Didn't Make A Difference. Why Are We Still Code Red?

A new study shows that Covid lockdowns didn't save lives. The only thing they took away were jobs.

According to a study from WalletHub that started last year, the lockdowns during the pandemic did not make any noticeable difference as far as saving lives. The spike was in unemployment.

A big nugget of truth that you will likely -not- hear from the corporate media. And it leads to the big question here locally? Why in the world is Harris County still at threat level Code Red?

Political analyst Paul Simpson, the former head of the Harris County Republicans told KTRH, "I don't know what here motives are?" referring to Judge Lena Hidalgo. "It's a shame. The lockdowns were easily the biggest public policy mistake in history."

The numbers show that states that did not have lockdowns have fared much better.

And now that we are finally getting back to normal, Simpson says there are going to be consequences for those that took their power a little too far.

"I think there is going to be a reckoning for those politicians who pushed these lockdowns" Simpson said, adding that "Lockdowns kill, and when those bad results show up later, there will be a price to pay."

In the meantime, Harris County remains on Code Red.
