Go Fish!

You don't have to live in the country to take your kids fishing. Texas Parks and Wildlife has developed "Fishin' Lakes" all over the state: four in the Greater Houston Area: Burke-Crenshaw Lake in Pasadena; Mary Jo Peckham Park in Katy; Herman Little Pond in Spring and Missouri City C. P. L., Community Park in Missouri City. Add to that five in Dallas-Fort Worth, two in San Antonio, two in Austin, as well as one each in Amarillo, College Station, San Angelo, Waco, Wichita Falls.

To make your "Fishin' Event" even better, The Texas Parks and Wildlife is stocking thousands of catfish at the four Houston-area fishing lakes.

The program allows families and friends to stay close to home, enjoy time outdoors, and a chance to reel in a catfish.
