The Border Patrol says their agents encountered multiple large groups of migrants entering Hidalgo County this week. That includes groups of 110 and 105 on Monday.
Agents also found another group of 154 people on Wednesday. All were taken into custody. One of the groups had two dozen unaccompanied children with them.
The Border Patrol says the Rio Grande Valley sector has already encountered 19 groups of 100 or more people illegally entering the U.S. this year.
