The machines invaded auto plants and displaced union workers. Now they’re coming for the accountants.
Automation is moving steadily forward, and dragging with it fear of job losses. Now even more people have more to worry about.
“These robots are actually algorithms and software that make decisions for our employees. It’s a form of automation that helps process decision making in an automated and more rapid fashion,” cyber security expert Parham Eftekhari tells KTRH News.
Concern about robotic job displacement has reached white collar workers and is causing the corner office to look twice.
“I that as we look to the future, virtually every job out there is going to be impacted in some way by automation, and there’s a new term out there called Intelligent Automation,” Eftekhari adds.
There is one sector where people may find safety, and that is specializing in human interactions. It’s something the machines haven’t mastered yet. But watch out. Next thing you know they’ll be driving your car.
