A Plumber Bummer For Houston

The only people busier right now than those trying to find us electricity? That would be plumbers! Houston has two problems! The failed power grid, and frozen and busted pipes! Jim Dutton, host of Texas Home Improvement told KTRH, "I think the plumbing issues themselves will be taken care of in probably 4 or 5 days." But Dutton says, "the issue we're really going to be dealing with is the damage the plumbing leaks cause, and that's going to go on for several months." If you have a busted pipe, you need to turn off your water. And if you need a plumber? Well, right now there's at least a 2-day wait. Sutton, who also happens to own a plumbing business also told KTRH, "most plumbers can handle it, it's just going to be a matter of how quick they can get to it." And unfortunately, that could be 2 to 3 months. "Plumbers are already stacking up, you're going to have to have some patience."
