Why Joe Biden Can't Restore Unity

So much for unity. President Joe Biden campaigned on it, promised it, and now continues to talk about it. But here we are, less than 2 weeks after taking over the White House, and the Democrats have decided to add a nice fresh supply of gasoline to the raging dumpster fire that is, our national politics in 2021. Political analyst Vlad Dividyuk told KTRH their motive is clear. "They're punishing Donald Trump, they want to impeach him, they want him to never run for office again, and they want to send a warning to any future Republicans that the same thing will happen to you." The truth of the matter is, Biden is going to have his hands full trying to bring the Democrats together, let alone both sides. As one political writer pointed out, "Trump is the best uniter the Dems have ever had." He's right. But what about some kind of 'unity' with the right? Dividyuk says it will never happen. "Unity is not possible as long as one side continues to hate the other side so much, that they seek to silence them, take away their livelihood, indoctrinate their children. The left does believe in unity, the left believes in conformity." But at least it sounds good.
