Biden's National Plan: Make America California Again

That didn't take long. Just hours after being sworn in, President Biden broke out the pen and signed -17- executive orders, moving swiftly to try and dismantle the legacy of Donald Trump. As expected, Biden halted construction on Trump's border wall, reversed the travel ban on Muslim countries, rejoined both the World Health Organization and the Paris climate accord, and more importantly here in Texas, Biden cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline. Chuck DeVore of the Texas Public Policy Foundation told KTRH, "Biden is going to make energy more costly, he's going to make voting less secure, immigration is another issue. It seems to me that in a few months, a lot of people may be missing President Trump." And that was just day one. Biden and his staff have sent the message. Their goal is to make America California again! Something that DeVore, who held office in the golden state, says it will be a disaster. "If you do a quick rundown of California's policy failures, it gives a preview of Biden's future failures. The highest income tax, along with the highest poverty rate." And DeVore reminds us, "The number one place Californians move to is Texas! How bad does it have to be?" And then the next question is, how bad will things be here in Texas? DeVore thinks it will be back to the Obama years. "Texas is going to probably be right back in the role that it was in during the Obama administration, fight back and defending it's prerogative's as a state." 2022 can't get here soon enough.
