Covid Vaccine Concern

The vaccine is here, the rollout is underway, already in phase 1-B here in Texas. All good, except for the fact that new numbers show that up to 60% of U.S. health care workers are refusing to get the Covid vaccine over fears of side effects. Not a good look for the Pro-vaxxer crowd that has been angry with the millions of Americans who also don't to take the vaccine. Infectious disease expert Patty Olinger told KTRH "Does it send a bad message? Obviously when the general public hears that, they get concerned." Olinger, who said she will have no problem taking the vaccine herself understands why a lot of people are leery. "Think about the flu vaccine, I don't know if there's anybody who's sitting there going "oh, let's go out and get a vaccine". And Olinger also told KTRH that the flu vaccine changes every year, so this shouldn't be a concern. We should know a lot more by the time the vaccine is available widespread.
