Babin to KTRH: I'll challenge election results in Congress

COMBO-US-VOTE-BIDEN-TRUMP

UPDATE: Texas Congressman Brian Babin joined Houston's Morning News this morning and told Jimmy Barrett and Shara Fryer he will challenge the election results when Congress gets together for a joint session to certify results on January 6th. Check out the interview below.

ORIGINAL: The holidays are here, the vaccines have arrived, and who knows? maybe even a stimulus deal! But all of that aside, we now have less than 2 weeks to go until the Georgia runoffs for control of the U.S. Senate, and then the day after on January 6th, the electoral votes will go before Congress. So where do we stand? What's the latest with President Trump? One item that has been discussed: a little known Executive Order that Trump issued in 2018. Basically, it allows the President to impose 'certain sanctions' in the event of foreign interference in a United States election. Travis County Republican Andy Hogue told KTRH "He's President until Joe Biden raises his hand and swears as oath, so as long as Donald Trump is our President he has Executive power." Translation? If President Trump and his legal team have proof that the voting fraud occurred with foreign interference? It may be the only way for the overwhelming evidence to be heard, especially with the Supreme Court taking an early holiday break. The countdown is on.
