With everything else going on in the world, we haven't heard much lately about the border wall, or 'Trump's border wall' as the left likes to spin it. With 400 miles plus of the wall already completed, it is fair to say the completion of the wall is up in the air (no pun intended). Joe Biden has vowed to stop construction of the wall, and according to a former ICE agent, that would be a big mistake. Victor Avila, a retired ICE Supervisory Agent told KTRH "The dangerous part is that really you ignore the dangers that happen down at the border every day. The democrats say that the wall is 'immoral', but it has nothing to do with that". And Avila would know. He just released a book titled -Agent Under Fire: A Murder And A Manifesto, in which he documents being ambushed by a Mexican drug cartel. Avila was shot 3 times while his partner was killed. Avila says the wall has "absolutely" made a difference in keeping the "bad things" out. And he is hoping that Biden will reconsider his plan to halt the wall "It's this political atmosphere that we're in today, that comes down to feelings rather than actions. I'm a first generation Mexican-American born and raised here in Texas. I'm concerned with the protection of our sovereignty". Hopefully, Biden will too.
