With less than 2 weeks to go now until the electoral college will cast their ballots, many are wondering what can we expect from President Trump with less than 2 months left to go in office? With the battle for election results still on going, President Trump is still overseeing 'Operation Warp Speed'. That little thing he did to get a vaccine in record time, you know the one that he has yet to receive any credit for! Plus, there is campaigning to be done before the big runoffs next month in Georgia. And maybe? if Congress can find -even an ounce- of compassion, they might actually do something to help the American people, still reeling from the ridiculous lockdowns. With that said, this is going to be a unique 50 days. It's been awhile since we've had a President not re-elected (*excluding voter fraud). So what can we expect? Rice political science professor Mark Jones told KTRH " I think we should expect Trump to go out fighting. It's a very uncomfortable situation". There has been speculation that Trump will try to do a lot before he leaves. But as Jones points out, any 'Executive Order's' that Trump may try to put into play, while likely be erased once Biden takes over. The other unique twist? Trump possibly using his final days to promote another run in 2024! Jones said "A lot of the things he's doing right now are setting the stage to make that run more viable, even if he doesn't end up pulling the trigger." As we like to say in radio...stay tuned!
