Covid Black Friday

It's the day after Thanksgiving. and we're still here! Today, it's the first 'Covid Black Friday'. The deals are still out there. The question is, will there be any shoppers? One study says that 95% of Americans won't shop in store this year due to Corona virus concerns, and the fear of crowds. The report also says that 54% of all people have lowered their holiday shopping budgets. Shopping expert Trae Bodge told KTRH "Stores aren't encouraging that crush of shoppers this year, and so that will be very different. I do expect some foot traffic in the stores, but again so many deals will be available on line so if you're uncomfortable shopping in person at all, you can do your shopping at home." Stores have made preparations for those that do decide to shop in person, but again most of the great deals will be available on line. With that said, Bodge reminds us that if you do decide to shop on line, don't wait until the last minute! "I am expecting some shipping delays, in fact I'm seeing them already so get your shopping done early if you can, do some shopping over Black Friday & Cyber Monday, and then try to finish it up in early December so you don't have to be concerned about your packages not arriving on time." And maybe there will be some parking?
