A covid therapeutic drug similar to Remdesivir, taken by President Trump when he was infected with coronavirus, is now available in Texas.
Governor Greg Abbott says the antibody treatment is being sent to 300 hospitals.
Good luck pronouncing it. The medication is called Bamlanivimab.
It takes about an hour to give it to patients recently infected with mild to moderate symptom.
The state is due for another experimental antibody drug in the coming weeks as it battles surging coronavirus cases.
