New Alternatives for Area School Districts

The Texas Education Agency is letting school districts return some struggling students to the classroom. The TEA told school superintendents yesterday (Friday, 11-6-2020) they could require students to attend classes in the classroom if they were failing or not attending virtual classes. Parents can appeal any on-campus requirements, then meet with district leadership.

They would also be given the opportunity to transfer their students to another district.
