Regardless of how the election ultimately turns out, former White House speech writer Michael Johns tells KTRH that Donald Trump has completely reshaped the Republican party, "President Trump has transformed and saved, the Republican party as a national and political force in this country by bringing attention to core issues impacting the working and middle class". And while Johns isn't sure whether or not Trump will run again in 2024, he adds "Trumpism is here to stay! This voter base is about half of the electorate, and they're going to expect and demand, that we take issues of the Trump presidency seriously". Michael Johns also points out that we should not underestimate the importance of Republican's maintaining control of the Senate.
