Due to tropical storm Beta, here is the list of school closings for Wednesday, Sept. 23.
- The Aldine ISD will have students and staff learn and work remotely on Wednesday, Sept. 23. All Aldine ISD buildings will remain closed.
- Clear Creek ISD will be closed today, and will re-open tomorrow.
- Cleveland ISD is closed.
- Channelview ISD will have virtual learning today. All faculty and staff are being asked to work from home again.
- Crosby ISD is 100% virtual today.
- Dayton ISD is closed today.
- Dickinson ISD is closed. The district will reopen campuses and begin both Face-to-Face Instruction and Remote Instruction on Thursday morning, September 24.
- Galena Park ISD will operate all campuses and District operations VIRTUALLY (from the homes of staff), including Transportation, the Administration Building and all other District functions. Classes will continue to operate on a virtual basis.
- Goose Creek CISD: Virtual learning for all students, and staff will work remotely from home.
- Stafford MSD campuses are closed, but classes will continue virtually. All staff and students should stay home and work remote. No afterschool activities. No transportation. Meal curbside and pick up services rescheduled for Thu 9/24.
- Houston ISD: District facilities and offices will remain closed Wednesday. All district facilities are scheduled to reopen on Thursday, pending road and weather conditions. At-home instruction will continue as scheduled as long as internet connectivity and power remain intact. Digital Learning Centers will be closed. Food deliveries at apartment complexes as well as curbside pickup – both scheduled for Wednesday – also have been canceled.
- Klein ISD is back to normal operations.
- Pasadena ISD will resume virtual classes tomorrow.
- Royal ISD is all virtual today, with all offices and facilities closed.
- Stafford MSD is all virtual today.
- St. Vincent De Paul Catholic school is all virtual today.
- Texas City ISD is closed today.
COLLEGES:
- All Alvin Community College face-to-face classes and on-campus operations are cancelled today. Online and remote classes as well as virtual services will go on as scheduled.
- San Jacinto College will extend online learning and remote work through today.
- UH-Downtown will be all virtual today.
- UH, including UH at Katy and Sugar Land, will continue remote operations for Wednesday, Sept. 23. All classes will be held online.
