Trump says vaccine is close, but Dems play politics with that, too

The President says we are close to getting a vaccine for COVID-19. Democrats are playing politics with that.

Joe Biden's running mate, Kamala Harris told CNN she wouldn't trust a Trump vaccine.

"I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump," Harris told CNN over the weekend.

And Hogue with the Travis County Republican Party says that kind of talk doesn't help.

"It seems like they are trying to make it gloom and doom. It's the worst possibly situation," Hogue stated.

Because that could lead to more death. Hogue says Democrats usually don't say that about vaccines.

"Usually you see the signs in people's yards that say science is real," he stated.

Hougue also told KTRH News that political leaders should be the first ones to say they would get the vaccine when it comes out
