Texas Public Schools Can Go Virtual Until November

Texas public schools are being allowed to go virtual until at least November.

The Texas Education Agency issued new guidance today saying online learning can happen the first four weeks of the school year with the possibility for waivers increasing it to eight weeks.

TEA originally said students had to be in class after three weeks of online instruction.

The change is being done to help slow down the spread of coronavirus.
