President Donald Trump is meeting resistance from some conservatives concerning a second round of stimulus checks.
Economist Vance Ginn of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, who once worked for the Office of Management and Budget in the Trump administration, says reopening the economy would be a better idea than sending people more money.
Ginn says stimulus checks and expanded unemployment benefits make Americans too dependent on the government.
