Texans collecting unemployment benefits will soon be required to prove they're actually looking for work.
As of July 6th, the Texas Workforce Commission will reinstate the work-search requirement.
People on unemployment will have to show they made at least three job searches a week.
Nearly two-and-a-half-million Texans have filed unemployment claims since mid-March, about as many as are expected in four years.
The Texas unemployment rate reached nearly 13-percent in April.
