A working mom from Cypress-Fairbanks appears on the Food Network competition show called "Worst Cooks In America" tonight.
Dolores Aguilar-Fernandez says her husband and daughter encouraged her to audition.
She agreed to apply after giving her family food poisoning by serving them some under-cooked chicken.
Starting this Sunday, Aguilar-Fernandez will appear on the show's 20th season with 13 other bad cooks.
Contestants will compete for a 25-thousand-dollar prize and try to pick up some cooking tips along the way.
It's on the Food Network at 8 tonight.
