Harris County Covid Cases Projected to Spike

There is a projection coming out of PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia that COVID-19 cases in Harris County will rise next month.

The model used cellphone data from Unacast that recently gave Houston a grade of an F for social distancing.

It predicts the numbers will go from around 200 a day now to over two-thousand daily.

Baylor College of Medicine genetic epidemiologist Dr. Christopher Amos tells KHOU it's a "very frightening chart," and adds he agrees "with anxiety that it will provoke."
