Texas Surpasses a Thousand Deaths

Texas has hit a mark that no one is bragging about. Texas is reporting that the number of COVID-19-related deaths IS a total of 1,049, state health officials said.

The Texas Department of State Health Services reported 1,251 new cases of the Coronavirus on Saturday (5-9-2020), bringing the state's total number of cases to 37,860. There were 1,219 new cases of the virus reported the day before (5-8-2020) and our state increased by 45 deaths on Saturday (5-9-2020),

Elderly Care During Coronavirus Crisis

May 8th (Friday) was the first day barbershops and hair salons could reopen in Texas. The week before saw restaurants and retailers in the state begin reopening with limited capacity. All open entities carry with them a list of precautions and rules to follow. Wear your mask!
