Harris County now has a Temporary Coronavirus Medical Facility that will be used as a last resort - only if all of the area hospital beds are filled. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and other officials took a tour of the medical shelter at NRG Park.

Officials said the project could cost $60 million and the federal government will reimburse the county up to 75%.
