In Texas, Sunday begins with 2,492 cases of coronavirus reported in the Lone Star State and 35 deaths. The Houston area has 810 confirmed cases. 115 of the state's 254 counties have reported cases - that's 45%.
Governor Abbott is allowing advance practice registered nurses whose licenses have expired in the past four years to rejoin the workforce without having to comply to standard re-licensing restrictions.
