TRA has been in constant contact with Gov. Abbott and his staff. As well as all governments and municipalities across the state. We have made huge strides in allowing restaurants to bend the rules and sell to-go alcohol and maintain curbside pickup. ANYTHING to keep these restaurants open and keep their staff employed.
Yesterday TRA launched a Restaurant Relief fund so restaurant owners may apply for money and distribute to staff. By going through their nonprofit Foundation, these grants are tax deductible for donors. So it’s beneficial for everyone. Over 250 restaurants have already applied for funding – in a single day! More will apply – and we want them to. The more donors TRA has for the fund – the more money they have for restaurant staff and expenses.
