Verlander's Game Cut Short

Ace Astros pitcher Justin Verlander cut his start short today and was pulled with sore triceps..Verlander was scheduled to pitch four innings, but felt discomfort during the second inning. He threw 28 pitches.

He faces 9 batters and gave up 3 singles and struck out 1. The 37 year old is the reigning Cy Young Award winner for the American Laegue.
