Biden resurgence could lead to brokered convention

After winning nine states on Super Tuesday, it looks like we could get a brokered convention in Milwaukee this summer. In fact, we could have a scenario where we get the first brokered convention since 1952.

"When no candidate makes it to the threshold to win the nomination on the first ballot, it goes into a second ballot, where you get the super-delegates," former Trump aide Kelly Sadler told KTRH.

Sadler says if that's the case, it's bad news for Bernie Sanders.

"The establishment has cut Sanders off. It has gotten behind Biden. The establishment Democrats want to keep the status quo in Washington," she stated.

It's a notion that Fox's Donna Brazile blew up at on air this week when responding to claims made by RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel that a brokered convention would be rigged against Sanders..

“First of all, stay the hell out of our race. Stay the hell out of our race,” Brazile began, addressing Republicans in general. “I get sick and tired, Ed and Sandra, of listening to Republicans tell me and the Democrats about our process. First of all, they don’t have a process. They are canceling primaries. They have winner take all. They don’t have the kind of democracy that we see on the Democratic side, and for people to use Russian talking points to sew division among Americans — that is stupid."
