The campaign of Democratic U.S. Senate candidate MJ Hegar is reporting its latest fundraising figures.
Hegar reported on Thursday that her campaign to unseat GOP Senator John Cornyn raised 638-thousand-dollars in the first six weeks of 2020, and has raised a total of nearly four-million-dollars.
Hegar leads the polls among the dozen Democrats in the March 3rd primary, and is by far the top fundraiser.
But she's likely to face a runoff in May because her support is well below 50-percent.
