Happy Words: "Today's (2-16-2020) Amber Alert has been canceled."
Richard, the boy who had been in a car that was stolen, was found safe and sound in that car which had been parked on the side of a road. Private Citizen, Carlos Marquez, came across the stolen vehicle as he was driving this morning and alerted the police. Police found the boy in the car and had him checked out by medical professionals.
Richard's mother had left him in her car for 2 minutes or less when she went to get a check cashed. She said he was tired and she didn't want to disturb him. As of this posting, Houston Police have not found the suspect(s) - but they have video surveillance and other information to go on.
