2019 was a bad year for political predictions

To say that 2019 was a bad year for political predictions would be an understatement.

They said the President would resign. He didn't. They said Joe Biden wouldn't run. He is. They also said Beto O'Rourke would be your next President. He won't. Political analyst George Seay says the only way you could describe Beto's failed campaign was that he bombed.

"Everybody made such a big deal about him. It was one of the biggest contrasts between hype and reality that I have ever seen," Seay said.

Political analyst George Seay says you can expect more predictions sure to go wrong this year, with one exception. You won't hear many saying Trump will lose the 2020 campaign.

"I think after last time, people will be reluctant to say he has no chance. That's what they said last time, and they looked really stupid," Seay explained, adding that he hopes all the predictions of a Trump win doesn't lead to Republicans being complacent.
