The talk since mid-September has been about a phone call and Ukraine and impeachment, as the mainstream media piles on to cover, smother, chop and dice President Trump’s list of accomplishments in 2019.
It has been a year that has seen record low unemployment of 3.5, the lowest in 50 years, with close to four million jobs having been created during Trump’s first three years in office.
President Trump ran on a campaign promise of improving trade agreements, NAFTA primary among them. In spite of a hostile Congress, the president’s administration has successfully been able to move USMCA forward and close to a signature.
And his campaign promise to ease the burden of policing the world and America’s commitment to world peace has seen the end of ISIS founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and an announced drawdown of troop levels in Afghanistan.
Don’t expect to hear much about it in mainstream media.
