Satanism is on the Rise

Yesterday was Christmas, Hanukkah continues through the weekend and people who haven't been in a church since April went to services again. And, according to Jonathan Saenz of Texas Values, Satanism is on the rise. There’s a witch festival coming to Austin pretty soon. It’s not close to Halloween, either.”

This summer the book A Children's Book of Demons was released aimed at children ages 5 to 10. Dominican Father Francois Dermine, who performs exorcisms, says the rise in satanism is due to the breakdown of the family structure, which often leaves children insecure and without trustworthy points of reference.-

Saenz also says, “Young people particularly being influenced away from believing in God. Or the change in technology that young people can be more vulnerable to these types of things and think they are harmless” CBS has a show called "Evil" where serial killers are investigated for possible satanic possession.  Father says “Satanism is becoming more explicit like the publication of "A CHILDREN'S BOOK OF DEMONS." He notes that just a few years ago this would have been inconceivable.
