Suspect in Sergeant Sullivan’s murder take into custody

Nassau Bay Police Chief Tim Cromie said the suspect in the murder of Sergeant Kaila Sullivan has been captured.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and US Marshal Gary Blankinship personally called Chief Cromie to notify him of the arrest. 

“We would like to extend our thanks to all the law enforcement personnel involved in the tracking and arrest of the suspect. We are also grateful to the citizens in the community that have been sharing tips and leads to assist with the arrest,” said Chief Cromie. “We ask that you continue to keep Sgt. Sullivan and her family, as well as the officers and staff of the Nassau Bay Police Department, in your thought and prayers, and continue to respect the privacy of the family.”

Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Tavores Henderson, 21, at a home in the 4200 block of Heritage Trail in Houston, Texas.
