Third TPC tower falls; officials say there's no reason for concern

Officials in Jefferson County say there is nothing to be worried about after a third tower came down this morning in the wake of the explosion at the TPC plant last week.

The tower was expected to come down. Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick had indicated that all of the towers would either fall down or taken down as a result of the explosion.

Branick says there is no reason for anyone to be concerned about this latest development, and that there is no threat to anyone in the area.

Following the explosion last Wednesday, a second tower came down over the weekend. Evacuation orders issued Wednesday were lifted Friday.
