As people head back to work tomorrow, the commute for a Denny's waitress in Galveston just got a whole lot nicer.
Adrianna Edwards had been walking nearly five hours to and from work, a 14-mile round trip.
She says she was just doing what she had to do while saving up for a car.
But after serving one couple last week, they learned about her plight.They paid their bill and returned with a 2011 Nissan Sentra for Edwards.All the anonymous couple asked in return is that Edwards pay the good deed forward.
Edwards said she feels like she's dreaming and keeps looking out the window to check if the car is still there.
