A Big Heart in Port Neches

At times of despair we look for a spark of goodness.

Port Neches business owner Jessi Ly is feeding families living in shelters because of the chemical plant fire in the area.

Jessi Ly provided hot meals for hundreds of evacuees at a Red Cross shelter on Thanksgiving Day.

Ly lives two blocks away from the burning plant and also had to evacuate, but she has family in the area, so she didn't have to go to a shelter.

She also fed firefighters and police officers working in the area.
