Gilley’s is Coming Back

Gilley's famous honky-tonk is planning to rebuild in expanded form in League City.

The 16-acre Gilley's Entertainment Center will feature a restaurant, a concert hall, and venues for meetings and events.

Gilley's was located in Pasadena at the time it was made world-famous by the 1980 movie "Urban Cowboy."

Construction starts next year at the site on Link at Calder Road.

Gilley’s was in operation from 1970 to 1990. It’s motto was “We Doze But We Never Close.”
