Early voting starts this week in the Houston mayoral election runoff and other county wide races.
Houston residents can cast ballots this Wednesday from 7 to 7, but then early voting takes the holiday weekend off and resumes on Monday, December second through the tenth. That's 7 to 7 each day except Sunday, December 8th - polls will be open 1 to 6.
Vote by mail ballots have to be received by 7pm on Saturday, December 14, which is election day.
