Recall Notice for New F-150's

Ford Recalls 2 Million F-150's Over Seat Belt Issue That Causes Fire

Texas loves the Ford F-150.

Ford Motor Company is recalling one of its best-selling vehicles over a safety issue.

The company says select 2019-20 F-150 pickup trucks have a positive battery-terminal fastener that might not be secured.

The issue could cause the engine to stall or catch fire.

The recall affects more than 168-thousand trucks in North America. Another recall from Ford affects nearly 60-thousand 2016-17 Lincoln MKX vehicles with three-point-seven liter engines.

The automaker says a parts problem could end with overheating for fire.
