An employee at a Kingwood day care center is out of a job after leaving a fat-shaming note in a child's lunch box.
The five-year-old boy's mother had put a note in his lunch box asking the day care workers to tell him his mom loves him and is thinking about him.
At the end of the day, somebody had written on the note, "No! Put him on a diet and go away!"
The mother contacted the Rocking Horse Day Care in Kingwood to complain.
The director apologized for the incident and said the employee responsible was fired.
